3d printing again

Some more 3d printed miniature. The quality for big creatures is pretty good, but for standard 28mm miniatures is still a little crude.

Thanks to Genova Makers' Village for the printed models.

3d printed miniatures

Lately I'm experimenting with 3d prints thanks to a group of creatives and their 3d printer.
The detail is not bad, but we are far from Games Workshop quality. 😁

Do you have some suggestions? Do you ever printed a miniature or have painted a printed miniature? Let me know.

The CYBEARIAN

When I found this poor toy without an arm I knew I could rebuild him better, faster, stronger.
Now, with his new cybernetic implants, this simple bear can protect his Country and avenge himself. Now, he is the CYBEARIAN!

Blood Bowl plantmen team

Blood Bowl again, well, sort of.

These plant guys are mini Gormiti, smaller version of usually way bigger toys.
I use them as a proxy wood elf team, or as a geric monsters for D&D sessions. The sculpt is actually pretty good, and with some modifications you can give some personality to these guys.

A group shot of the wip.

And the finished product.

The two big guys, the one with the vines is a little resculpted.

These three brothers got a little customization.

And for you all mostlt head swaps.

Those three are a little more recent, I can use them as star players and apothecary.

Cyborg Norse

In the last post I showed a big cyborg guy as a possible minotaur for my blood bowl team.
Time to show how it is made. It's a toybash, what a surprise, I know.

I'm not happy of the bloody meat on the back or the base, but I still think it's pretty good.

Chaos Blood Bowl Team

And now something completely different: Blood Bowl.

I recently got some bits on ebay and I found enough pieces to put togeter a couple of Blood Bowl teams.

I do not play the game, but whatever, I can still use them in D&D.

First team, Chaos!

Beastmen

Chaos Warriors

Big Guy.
This was a problem.
I have a cyborg, an heroquest minotaur and a wereboar toy (Cronox, I think). I do not really want to use the cyborg, it's a little too much Norse, and he has a giant axe for an arm, not the best for a Blood Bowl game. The heroquest minotaur is classic, but the sculpt is old and I do not like the humanoid feet. The last is the wereboar, I hate the big legs but at the moment it is the best I have.
